You are disgusting in your fanaticism to cleanliness and I love every second of it. Car looks amazing and I'm sure is going to be perfect when done. Is that the factory intercooler system? I've never actually seen one and it makes me giggle.

These cars are money pits, but any project car is. Just got my valve cover back from the powder coater. Turned out sweet.

Update:

Starting working on the car again today. Got alot done. Stripping the front suspension. The plan is to drop the front subframe. Replace all bushings. Install the lower control arms, rebuild steering rack, Whiteline swaybar, BC coilovers, new brakes, new oil pan and new motor mounts. Lots of parts going to the powder coater and going to finish under coating the car.

What bushings did you use in the front subframe and how was the removal of the old bushings?

Looks great BTW!

Energy suspension bushings. Used a press. It was very easy with the right tool.

Definitely impressed by this build thread! I think the bill from all the OEM replacement parts would make me faint. I've got the exact same rust problem to fix behind the front fenders.

Thanks for the kind words. I wanted to document the whole build. My last GVR4 I didn't have any really detailed pictures of what I did to the car. I just drove it daily and enjoyed it. That is why I am taking alot of pictures so I can look back and see the work I did. I have been lucky with my local Mistubishi dealer and my powder coater they have been really great. Giving me a super deal on pricing. Really helping me out.
