Looking good Tim!!!

When are you taking it out????

Here is an update on my ride:

Coil remount and rewire with shielded tefzel wire to try and eliminate the miss I had when I ran the 11.08. I wasn't sure if it was heat related (it was on the rocker cover) or if it was noise related (I was running unshielded twisted wire).

Rollcage install (bolt in 6 point safety 21)

My 2 lucky charms - bruce lee key ring on the wiper arm and a chinese lucky thing that has been with the car since I have owned it.

On the dyno - retune with dry ice and bigger injectors (1600cc)

With dry ice in the box.

Dyno graph comparison
328 kw = 440 hp at the wheels (it was 350kw when I was running the 3.9 rs box which is 470hp at the wheels)
357 kw = 478 hp at the wheels (just guessing it would be approx 380 kw with the 3.9 rs box which is 510 hp at the wheels) with the dry ice

What I like about the dry ice is the gain down low. About 100hp of power gained down low!!!!

The E33A AMG GALANT
Before and after dyno graph.

253 kilowatt = 339 horsepower at the front wheels.

Plenty more in her but we didn't want to push her just yet.
Now sporting 272 cams and 1000cc injectors

Wow that's a huge difference! It's making boost and power ~1000 rpm earlier just because it's that cold? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/worthy.gif

thought I should put some pics up of my current build and where it is at.

^^ looking very clean and shiny!

my existing 16G turbo managed to do this:

so I bought this (20G wheel and machined Evo III housing):

along with these:

Will get exhaust wheel back cut and the whole lot balanced and then hopefully back together soon, my whale of a VR-4 may be slightly less slow now!

oh come on! it's not like I've hacked up the front bumper or put chrome wheels on it. It's a subtle factory upgrade mod which other than the down pipe no one would ever know! Am keeping original parts still etc. It has other small mods like a boost controller, boost gauge, ever so slightly lower but stiffer aftermarket springs (must have been fitted in Japan).
