At this point the car was moved to my parents house for storage. A year ago I made a move to the twin cities to start a new job.

11 hours of sanded and painting engine bay is back to a good color.

Boring out my TB to 63mm and half shaft modification.

Then port matched to the cyclone intake manifold

Finished TB ready to go.

That's where I grew up. Live in Duluth now, but make it down quite a bit. I may have my car down at MAP in a few weeks and will be home. Should talk cars. If you don't mind me asking, where are you working?

Continued to work on some more stuff on the car. Put the headlights back in trim pieces, Brake master.

Dropped the gas tank and fixed the mess of a send unit mount.

Looks like the housings were painted black. You can tell it's not '93 lights because the lenses have fluting. Still looks cool though. Nice progress on the car. Kind of scared to see my sending unit area now.

I was told they were "JDM". The lenses feel like glass. Did the US cars have plastic lenses?

Those look like modified US headlights. Every "JDM" headlight I've had my hands on is all plastic and weighs 1/5 of what a US headlight does. All my 91/92 headlights are glass.

I've only sen two sets in person so maybe they were an older style? They were definitely all plastic and didn't' weigh much because I considered getting a set to shave 10 lbs off the nose of the car but I didn't want to deal with RHD beam pattern.

And Motor is in the car. Next is our lead fabricator is getting it (who I am pretty sure is a wizard) to do his magic on the exhaust and intake. I have 2 interesting ideas for manifold and turbo set ups. Either reverse top mount or....If I can figure something out with the radiator...front facing.

I have been hearing that people have overheating issues with going with a civic half radiator. Even with the triple core ones.

this is true as i had the same issue with my civic half rad, but i thought i was having issue because im at 7000 feet, i daily drove the car and i changed elevation constantly. i would only overheat when i was under constant load driving over a pass. once i got to the top of the pass it would drop right away and if i hammered on the throttle while on level ground it wouldn't overheat. so if this is a race car i don't think youll have thank much of an issue, if your going to daily it then you may be right about overheating issues.
