If your clutch grabs near the top, then your clutch is probably about ready to go. No amount of adjustments is going to change that.

the clutch adjust rod goes towards or away from firewall. You're looking at maybe the brake pedal position threads (which are up/down IIRC)?

If you didn't have to get all kinds of upside down cirque de soleil to reach it, you're not in teh right spot /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif it's rougly above the gas pedal.

IIRC???? anyways I am saying I know the rod goes either in to the fireway or away from the firewall right? but which one is it to make it go higher or lower?

If I remember right, and I probably don't.... Turning it in will lower the catch point.

I still think your clutch is going though, and if you adjust it way out of wack, then it is going to be a PITA when you install a new clutch.
