    another thing, there is a big point of diminishing returns on rod-to-stroke, the 4g61 is a a 75mm stroke and a 150mm rod this is 2 to 1 and anything beyond this is a waste of time. Also for reference my jdm 4g61t in my mirage pulled like a freight train to my limiter of 8800.

    psig i think, (guage reading from the intake manifold) the intake makes a huge difference above 70mph. again I was only able to make 35psi on the 3" exhaust but around 40psi. with the 4"

    the tre 25% 5th gear has been out of production for years now like 2006-7 ish. another option is getting bigger tires or the evo 5th gear. tuning is your friend as well. I'm on a quest to get 30mpg on the highway with e85 but it is a long road so to speak.

    save the trouble, if you want a turbo to respond that fast just do a e316g with a 6cm. With my e316g I get boost by 3000. Why would you want it to spool that fast anyway all you are going to do is KILL your gas mileage.

  43. Odd E85 question

    my mirage turbo is tuned for 17 or 18-1 a/f and runs fine. (scaled for gas) also running the e316g to 40psi on a stock 1g motor. runs really well.
  44. Running more than one set of injectors...

    I have been helping 2 friends that just put bulemax 1650cc in and they are both ( an 1g on a chip and afc and a 2g on dsmlink) running very well. Kinda sucks because I have a jmf manifold for 8 injectors and it really isnt needed any more.
  45. 2.3 boost creep issues

    Put in some leaded race fuel, and see how far is goes. With the e316g and a 2.3 with cams you should run out of compressor as well as the turbine. (I don't think you would be able to make any more that 24-26psi with the 2.3) Do you plan on keeping that turbo?
