Who's using one and how do you have it set up in terms of adapters & modifications?

I have one and I like it. I have use it on the galant, my durango, and my wifes jetta. It works best with dedicated adapters. The universal will work buy it can be troublesome getting a good seal. Best bet is to get a spare master cylinder cap and epoxy a fitting to the top. That makes it much easier on the galant.

The thing is straight forward to use and makes life even easier than speed bleeders.

i read of people not putting brake fluid in the unit, rather just topping off, to avoid mess. Is it at all messy?

I've found if you follow the instructions, it's not messy at all. Just clean out the container with some dawn after draining it well into a waste container. I suppose if I was just bleeding on the galant, I might just crack the speed bleeders, but usually I'm flushing since I live in humidity land so I use the motive and it's a lot faster.
