I ran into a bit a trouble yesterday when removing the crank bolt to change out the balance shaft belt, I couldn't get it to budge one bit, does it turn clockwise or counter clockwise like a normal bolt to loosen it?

Thanks Alan

Hi Alan. The bolt tightens/loosens normally, like you said.

Read this thread (all the way through, it's not too long): Crank Bolt removal

You'll need a breaker bar and a 22mm socket.

To retorque it: Read this thread. You'll need a transmission for this /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

Good luck /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif.
