Quoting GSTwithPSI:
The only thing I'm "hoping" for is that this car goes to a knowledgeable enthusiast who actually has the ability to appreciate and care for the platform.
The overall point of my questions are aimed at trying to figure out what shape this car is currently in. That's something a prospective buyer would want to know, yeah?
You say it's going to be a turn key car. Mike said it
was a botched build with tons of crap wrong. You can't have it both ways, so I just want to know which it is, and if currently, all the issues have been corrected. All the threads outlining the issues with the car were deleted. If you've got a link to the thread you're talking about, I'd be interested to see it. I can only recall a few very serious issues with the car that stuck in my mind, hence a few of my very specific questions (that have gone unanswered for the most part). This thread is probably the only real update I've seen on the car since I've been a member here. It obviously performs now, which is a start at least. Let's get the rest of the details?
I've always advocated that overall, #3 was a nice car. There's no question in my mind that's true. But, if you start telling prospective buyers this is in "turn key" condition, it damn well better be. There are a million more Mike Fosters out there ready to buy "turn key" Galant VR-4 builds.
For your sake, I hope you're selective on your buyer. If not, you best be ready to deliver above and beyond on that turn key promise to another Mike Foster.
This will be my last response to you directly. You're simply busting my balls because I took a jab at Mike Vs car.
If you are so concerned with the story, condition, and future preservation of #3 then put your money where your keyboard is and make a real offer. Get me a letter from you financial institution showing availability of funds in the amount of at least 18K then I'll call you and personally tell you the entire saga of #3(bring popcorn it might take awhile). After I'm done with my tale of intrigue and deception we'll negotiate final purchase price and you can buy it. When you fly in to take ownership I'll pick you up in #3 with a perfect AZ title in my little brown hand. My email is

As for the car right now, it's in my hands and I'm doing the work. When I'm done with the car and post a for sale add I will describe the car exactly as it sits then and there. I assure whomever buys it will get the same fantastic ride home from the airport I offered you.
