looks sweet! I plan on cutting the front like what you have also. it was hit at the top front by the headlight and i figured i can reposition the radiator and intercooler where i want them now:)

gots another update... finally found another few days to knock some more stuff out...

been trying to figure out what i wanna do with the shifter and got it figure out...

chopped out a nice CF plate from a piece i made
P2052423.jpg

pulled apart the stock shifter...
P2052425.jpg

measured it out and marked it
P2052426.jpg

chopped and installed.... not perfect but good enough
P2052427.jpg

got the other boost pipe (intercooler to tb) done...
P2042422.jpg

all aftermarket manifolds put all the ports in the same spot. well one of the nice parts about doing it all yourself means i can put the right size port exactly in the spot that i want it...
P2052428.jpg

did a little sandwich stack with my tranny cooler and radiator, then bottom right is my oil cooler mounted to intercooler. So everything should stay nice and cool.
P2052434.jpg

P2052435.jpg

intakes done with all barbs and 5 bar map, fuel rail and inj back in and cleaned up. tb cable sorted...
P2052433.jpg

MAN she's getting close.

-wire up trans
-wire up TB sensors
-radiator hoses
-turbo drain
-swap rear diff for auto diff
-ss rear brake lines

bout it... so a few solid days left and she'd be done ready to rock

P1212679.jpg

just welded it back up for now but plan on rebuilding that whole piece out of some heavier stainless.

was messing with the boost controller and broke this fitting...

P1192662.jpg

so while the cold side housing was off fixing it i threw some paint at it to make it stand out /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

SO...

that finally catches the build thread up to present.

CAR been running with the auto swap for a few months fighting small issue's here and there.

Finally got it lined out enough to see how it would do at the track. (i knew it wouldn't launch well)

trackday_zps7abb699e.jpg

(stay tuned for video)

but anyways, it only did a 12.5 at 125 because it 2.6 60 foot. Car only foot brakes to about 3k which only builds about a pound of boost. LOL.

SO im gonna but the bottle to IT /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here is the video.

you can see how painfully slow the thing launches... but once the turbo comes on it strolls out pretty good.

the old nasty exhaust manifold pipe that blew out at the track
P1172720_zpsefa7727f.jpg

got it all fixed up with some thick SS, even went a little larger pipe to help flow, also recirculated my wastegate while i was in there.
P1182722_zps378112fc.jpg

Finally got my new tires, old ones were 24.6, these are 26.1, that should help get my MPH back.

needless to say it fills the fender opening quite adequately

My friend was able to get boost to build when they got an arc2 ignition box. Then you will build so much boost you'll have to install a vacuum pump to help hold it back at the line :)

went out and did some tunning and got it running solid... then went and raced a 1000whp truck and got a got a solid win..... WHILE blowing a head gasket.

got it apart and man did i blow a gasket and torch the head in the process..

P1282785_zpse5144a16.jpg

it wasn't that deep (forgot to take a before) this is cleaned out ready for welding.
P1282787_zps8a051153.jpg

Welded it back up thoroughly and re-decked it. Got a new expensive billy badass head gasket and did all the black magic tricks to all the stuff using all i have learned from the gurus to re-seal the head. I think its staying down this time.

Got a bunch of goodies im dong this week to be ready for 2k13 so its game time
