Alright, so I bought a Megan Racing downpipe off a local last weekend, and fit it up to my VR4 tonight. It hits on the bracket for one of the water lines going to the water/oil cooler, and also hits on the transfer case. I have a feeling that it's not completely sealing at the o2 housing. Anyone else have this problem?

not at all, it fits like a glove.Mine does pass by real close to the T.case but doesn't hit it, but then again, every 3" DP passes real close. What kind of O2 housing are you guys running ?

I'm running a 2G o2 housing. Mine is actually crushing the flex section up against the transfer case. I'm not sure why. Weird.

Positive. It was working find with my Mofugus downpipe, really the only reason I swapped out the Mofugus was because the flex section was leaking really badly. I guess I should have just had the flex section replaced I'll try to figure it out when I have some more time on my hands to play around with things. I think I stipped one of the exhaust studs off the O2 housing out anyway, so I gotta get it all back out of there later this week.

^^ The 2G AWD downpipes fit the GVR4? Does it require modifications or does it bolt right up to the 1G catback?

Yes, it will fit, both of those turbos are the TDO5 housing and are the same size.

The 2g awd downpipe bolts right up to the stock or 2g o2 housing perfectly and also clears the transfer case. As far as bolting right up to 1g catback, I doubt it, but since the down pipe is longer than stock(cat eliminator) it might be pretty close and require less piping to adapt it to fit.

I bought the RRE 3" for EVO O2 housing almost exactly one year ago. Friday, I heard the sound of a leak, so when I got home I crawled underneath to find it was in the flex section. I'm gonna email them to see if they have any type of warranty...though I doubt it. I don't know if that's a good lifetime on one of these or not but, at $230 a pop I can't afford to be replacing it every year. It did fit perfectly though

Done there, been that
