Well i don't think its really adjustable. Just pull the rubber bushings out use some bolts with big washers and tighten it down with the holes centered by eyeball then weld.. This may require adjusting the linkage some but it does get rid of slop in the system but does pick up some vibration in the shifter handle.

TEL shifter, shitty bracket to make the entire shifter higher to compensate and put the knob back where it should be. It all (just barely) fits under the stock console and stock shifter boot. The entire shifting mechanism is basically IN the boot but you can't tell by looking at it.

I was trying to find a good pic of my shifter, but I made 2" spacers out of aluminum square stock, and used AC mounting bolts I think. This puts the 1g shifter at a nice height in the Galant.

At around the 1min mark you can see where the shifter is placed in my car.

Don't they sell all metal bushings that go here? I have a set on my car that I bougt forever ago and just made a set for my van because I have access to a lathe.

I had great success with my shifter modds.I 1st did the sold bushings at the trans and the shifter plate bushings. I machined bushings for the shifter, that took all of the slop out of the shifter. Last I fabbed heim joints from the cables to the shifter.
