Your perfectly set up for an afco. These pics are about 5 or 6 years old now but you can see how much room I have with the afco installed as forward as possible.

Looks like you're not running A/C, so you'll have more room and more options. I can't suggest anything in particular on these, since I've never looked into or needed anything else, but will say AFCO makes some really nice radiators; have one for the chevelle and it's a work of art /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Best part was it was 1/2 the price of lesser "name brand" models you see in the catalogs/websites (but that was a group buy; no idea what they run).

Shame you have to hide it, G...love how they finish the top and do custom side brackets, so it can be 'shown off'.

Ok guys, thanks for all the help! I ended up ordering the AFCO Rad from summit. Really didn't wanna spend 300 but its better to do it right than rig something up and then have the turbo pierce the rad due to lack of clearance.

BTW how many fans and what size are you guys running with the AFCO rad? Also what radiator hoses? stock hoses work?

Glad you got it sorted out. I personally am a fan of the civic 1/2 radiators. I run a 3 core fluidyne knock off on mine, and its been absolutely perfect. I'll be using it with my t67 as well and will have a ton of space.

Post lots of pics!!

Perfect! Yea I dont think I would have been able to squeeze the half rad in there, with the way my turbo is clocked. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Thanks for the help!

I'll try and remember to take a few more pics when I get off work today, you'd definitely be able to fit the 1/2 radiator man. I'm running my 16g setup with a jpipe pointing down and all that, so my IC setup is actually very similar to yours, and I still have about 2.5" between the closest part of my turbo and the radiator. My T67 is massive, and all the mock-ups I've done it has about 2" between the closest part of the turbo/charge piping and the radiator. But, either wya, it's not important being as you've already got an AFCO setup coming your way. If I'd had the coin and could afford the downtime of not having a car, I most likely would've gotten an AFCO as well, but being as the Honda scene here is pretty plentiful, I was able to pick up my first 2core for $40, and the 3core I have on it now for $75. Couldnt argur with those prices and availability.... And thankfully, it's working just fine for my setup.

Take it wasy!

I had a really hard time getting a 4" intake pipe to fit without interference with a civic radiator and fan. Afco FTW! I just wish i'd gotten one sooner!

Hey man, dont get me wrong, I am all about trying to spend as little money as possible too! I just didnt want to buy a civic rad an it possibly not fit then I would be stuck with it! But it is good to hear that your set up it fits good! Even just looking at mine there was a little more than 2" of clearance between the 90 off the turbo and the lower radiator support!

Also the Radiator came in today! I Snapped some pictures, its not fully installed yet, but it gives you an idea what it will look like! I mocked it up around where I am planning to put it in. It also looks like the drain hits the intercooler pipe, I will most likely remove it and replace it with a regular plug no big deal.

As far as a fan I will most likely have to run a puller, not sure what size yet.

Obviously it goes without saying, if anybody wants me to take a picture of anything in particular just ask, the car is 5 feet away from me, and with technology now a days it really easy to get photos on the internet!

Looks good!! Have you thought about runnig a pushfan on the outside of the radiator? For example, the intercooler side? Thats where i mounted mine, also helps free up some space, FWIW. With how damn crammed these bays are, a little extra space never hurt anyone... Lol.

I wanted to mount a push fan, but it might be too close to that beam that is running vertically right in the center. Once I buy the fan I will see which side it fits on better!

These engine bays are CRAZY cramped! I have an HX40 Talon and there is soo much room in the front!

Looks good!!^
With that rad. you should be able to run a 12" puller fan w/no problem.
I'm also running a Bolt on BEP HX35{w/no A/C} w/a full size alum rad., 12" fan & 4" Dejon Turbo inlet pipe[I did a weld on alum. 90 elbow for the turbo to eliminate the slilicone elbow & t-bolt to free up some space down low] It is tight but, it fits & works.
