I was replacing the radiator on 1309 and as I was putting the Therm housing back on the 2 spade connector broke. Now Ive searched and found other discussions, but they were never really answered as if this was really needed to be connected. I dont have A/C is in the car just no belt and all that junk, so my question is.

1. Is this sensor needed if I do not have A/C?
2. If needed where can I get a replacement.

Thanks.

The A/C sensor on the top thermostat housing neck broke? If you don't have A/C, you don't need it.

Cool. Just double checking, so i can cut the wiring down and tape/wire-nut it off.

Yeah I see no issue with that. I deleted mine and wired up my radiator coolant temp switch in its place. Only did that because my new radiator doesn't have a provision for the coolant temp switch in the radiator.
