I broke the sensor that tells the ECU when the throttle plate is closed. I was wondering if any one knew the name of this part. It looks kinda like a coolant temp sensor with a button on the bottom. Also any info on if i need this sensor or what it really even does would help. Thanks mike.

It's called the "Closed Throttle Position Sensor" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here's the manual page detailing it's behavior:

Good luck!

Thank you for the read out, I was wondering if it is needed or if I could just remove it? I am geussing that it helps alot with idle if not i will not worry about it. I heard something about when you are in gear and deceling it turning the injector pulse off.
Also i was wondering where i could get one no one even has one on their computer inventory here.
