my thoughts exactly GVR-4.theres no reason rev the engine past its power point.my engines for my drag car make peak power @ 7600 rpm i put the shift light for 7400rpm this way the engine is always revving towards its power point.another thing is longer stroke more torque but less rpm.Torque gets you off the line RPM pulls you through the traps.
 

youd need a pretty big turbo for a 2.1L..

how about a 2.4L block wit a 112mm crank ? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif 2.7L
