This is kinda OT, but has anyone had the REAR glass replaced? The defrost lines on mine are all torn up from someone using a razor to remove tint. If it ended up costing about as much as some of you guys are paying for the front, I'd consider having it done.

There are places that can do a very good job of re-etching the defroster lines. We've had a few done that way as opposed ot repalcing the rear glass. It's usually more expensive to replace the rear, as a point of reference. --Usually a substantial amount.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rofl.gif Good luck on getting rear glass. I tried when mine got broke out. It is nla. The best option is getting it from a yard. Cost me 50 bucks and 80 or 90 to install. Defroster does not work and i need to get a repair kit and fix that but high heat works just as well. I would do the same thing for a front.

i think my back window was broken before i found glass under the backseat. And don't all vr4's come with a little aws eitch on the bottom center?

It was just a sticker. Most tint shops remove it when they prep the window to place the tint on. Austin got into a little "scuffle" with some guys and he had both is driver side windows smashed, so that is prob the glass your seeing.

yeah i found like a full windows worth of glass in the door.
i would be so pissed if someone else broke any window besides myself.
The galant got punched only once while in the build process, and im still mad at myself for making the dent.
