What is stock base idle?

Totally stock car besides the boost leaks. What is stock base idle on these cars? I'm idling at about 2,000 right now which I'm sure isn't right.

Check VFAQ /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif It's a little more involved. Not much, but a little /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Ground the timing plug, and ground the diagnostic pin (or hook up you logger)and then set to the desired RPM. This sets the ISC to a set value .

It could be any number of things that include vacuum leaks, idle switch, FIAV, ISC, etc. Not just the BISS. Check them all.
