Watch out for this guy

If you PM a member here saying you know someone who is selling a part they need, and offer up an email address for them to contact, you could get banned. If you are a new member with no post count, you will be banned immediately. This is a common scammer tactic being used all over the web.

If you legitimately want to put two GVR4 owners in contact with each other, point them to the member's profile here and/or tell that other GVR4 owner to log in here. And do so publicly in the forums, not via PM. The moment you post an email address, we'll assume you're running a phishing scam and violating the rules and you'll be banned.

If you receive a PM like this, report it to a moderator using the 'Report' link below the message. And if the person is requesting a Zelle payment, walk away. It's a scam.

This just happened to me and the guy used a pic I found on a website.

happens more times then not, someone on here got me for $65. My fault for paying him in venmo. Name was djokovic0 people really do be scumbags on here. I laughed it off though, feel bad for people that need to do that to get a little extra cash from people. Same thing though hit this guy up for ebrake cables.

Agreed...Ban this dude. He messaged me recently but I already know about this "Email this person" weak a** scam technique.

Same I reported him a little bit ago. He tried to get me with a “Pristine fuel tank” a few weeks ago to contact so and so with an email.
