Your girl needs to tape the whole event at customs when you get your crate and go home to have all the stuff placed all over your house and I know from experiance you need to have her a gift in your pocket when you get there. Tickets for a weekend away or something . Take her to HK Disney and stay in a Resort for the weekend. That way you get time over the next few months to rub on your car instead of her. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif

What did you guys end up doing about the non-cryoed tranny and the GSX/VR4 ring gear issue?

Paul,

Tranny was cryoed ... apparently I just didn't get charged for it ... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So it's a straight TRE race tranny with US spec final drive and rear ring and pinion. RS 1st and 2nd gearset, US spec 3rd and 4th gearset and a VERY tall 5th gear. Double synchros on 1st, 3rd and 4th (no double synchro on 2nd ... not possible with the RS 2nd); carbon front LSD with Cusco 35/65 rear bias centre LSD.

So is the 5th gear straight cut? I really want a nice tall 5th gear, but don't want one straight cut. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

No, not straight cut. TRE has these things on their site as an option, but I got mine from Teet.

After all this time I guess its a no-brainer that you'll be up all night playin with your new toys.

You mean you didn't rip open all the boxes as soon as you got them? Man, it'd be like Christmas morning for me.

Not quite at my house guys. That's just a Bill of Lading (well part of the documentation that accompanies it). So now I have to get a truck, drive down, and pick those crates up. All FOUR of the suckas. It isn't like they'll fit in the trunk;

Paul atually it's not too bad only 3 crates and 1 big box that has the exhaust /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
