Get a SAFC and a Wide band. Research heavily before you tune or pay someone to tune it for you.

Seriously, STOP messing with this until you have the alt/battery fixed. You're talking about buying an afc for $125 and you WON"T buy a new battery *$50ish* or a reman alt *maybe $100 max*???????? Your working your way into nobody helping you if you won't do things right.
