Ralliart Racing Seats on low booger welded rails

So its raining and can't do a damn thing on the car. I have talked with friends if these are authentic or not. So far we all agree they're fakes.

5-7+ years ago I picked up this Talon TSI with these seats in them. I don't think they're authentic seats. Anyone have any history on them?

Booger welds, i has them. So this is what I'm tossing together... GVR4 rails stripped with 1G slide release lever?. I think this should keep my seats quite low. And I will just hit it with a rattle can and put some carpet or sheet metal to cover the ugliness. I still have to transfer the 1G handle, didn't decide to do it till after I was done making metal stick /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/uhh.gif

I'm just a engineer with a search engine, not a fabricator. But the steel sticks together quite well... Thoughts constructive criticism?

It looks warm there. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

If they fit and slide go for it. As you know welds don't have to be pretty just make sure the metals clean and it penetrates

Looks lke the seats you could get a few years ago on ebay. They're just cheap knock-off seats with some embroidering.

Alright thanks guys. Sure would of been nice if they were a "diamond in the rough". Curtis, yea its 52ºF. Sucks that the Galant isn't inside the shop though.
