Where do guys find radiators hoses that fit? I ordered hoses from RockAuto (Goodyear) and they don't work. I got hoses from Advance Auto (Dayco) and it's the same crap. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Gvr4 specific? I know the 1g upper is different, so if they are saying they are the same that might be a problem.
I have always bought OE for this because I get a good deal, so I have not tried anyone else.

I use gates hoses from oreillys and they all work fine for me. We have ones for 1g's and VR4 specific ones as well. I get them for like 8-10 bucks a hose

I went to the new local one that just open. The had the a lower hose in stock, but this was the same shape as the one I got from Rockauto. I picked up the Gates flexible hose, but it hits the shaft linkage on the trans.
This is a pic of the Galant (for all E33A/E38A/E39A) hose
However my hose from 923/2k looks more like this, the lower hose off a 1g.

Are you saying these will fit a gvr4 easily without any issues? Or are you saying they work for you and your custom setup?

Lots of aftermarket hoses are "cut-to-fit" designs. that said, I can't really tell if that would work from the two you show. I would have to try lining them up.

I picked up a 1g hose from Advance Auto since O'reillys were out. The slightly off but if I trim it it will work.
The funny thing is I have a stock replacement Modine radiator. I have to trim a 1g upper hose to fit also.
