I would like some input on this set up


mod list

stock block built head on 272 cams
short rt fmic
880cc fic injectors 255 walbro with a rewire with afpr
3"tbe
pte gt3076r a/r 48 with anti surge

Read this: should get you started.

BTW, I hope you have at least Walbro 255 fuel pump on that list. 880 injector's will outflow the stocker by about double.

I love turbos that size on 2.0L but personally i'd use the .63 AR exhaust housing, especially with 272's. You're not gonna lose that much response and you will benefit from the extra flow where the cams are happiest.
 

I agree with the .63 only if its a T3. If is a T4 the .48 will be equivalent.

Unless PTE is casting their own hotside, my understanding is that garrett doesn't make a T4 hotside for the GT30, and frankly a .48 T3 would be way too small for that turbo /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

There are a bunch of new garrett divided t3 hotsides that are coming available for the GT30 though, and twin scroll = win. I'd go to a .8x divided before a .63 open any day of the week.
