power breaking up

At about 4500 and up my power just cuts out feels like a boost leak or fuel cut . Did a boost leak test no leaks I have a decent tune on safc2 and maf trans but I cant seem to shake the power cut

have you checked your spark plugs? also have you checked your battery and alternator?

Lol yeah I actually buy spark plugs by the case dsm's eat them up im sure you all know lol I will ckeck the alternator for sure . Do u think it could be not enough fuel in the top end ? Im running 560's wally 255 only 10psi

I ran 15 psi with 560s+ 2gmaf with everything else stock just fine.

You should be fine on 10 psi... Unless something is bad or going bad in the system.

If you really think it has to do with fuel pull the injectors and fuel filter and clean them.

Test the fuel pump too if the alternator checks out.

I concur; I was running 28 psi on 91 octane pump gas on evo pink 560s and a rewired 255 in-tank. You should be JUST fine.

Doublecheck your sparkplugs, pull them and check to make sure you're not running lean or detonating. if you are detonating, you're more than likely experiencing preignition, and you should retard the timing accordingly.

Your gap should be between .28-.34, and you should be fine at 10lbs on the factory plug. You can try running a step colder plug, but be prepared for it to foul more quickly.

Hope that helps!

Don't forget to check the spark plug wires. I tried three used sets on mine until my new ones arrived. New wires did the trick.
