Hey everyone my name is Steven im 21 and i just traded for a 91 Galant VR-4 327/2000. I ended up trading a 97 Buick for the Galant because my friend needed something to drive since the galant didnt run right. The Galant is misfiring has a couple of oil leaks, coolant leak, boost leak, and a vac leak. I know it needs a tune, valve cover gasket, new plugs and wires and the idle adjusted from what i can tell so far. I dont know how to find a boost leak or a vac leak any help?

Looks like a good clean starting point! Hopefully the engine is in good shape.

Look up how to do a boost leak test. It's easy. You take off your intake(air filter to turbo) and pressurize the whole system. Your boost leak and vacuum leak are probably going to be the same thing...

Yeah everything is in real good shape and the motor was recently rebuild from what i was told.
Its got Nippon pistons and rings, King bearings, All Felpro gaskets, Gates timing belt, Balance shafts eliminated, 750cc injectors, 2g maf, next to new Evo3, b16g, Eprom pcm with keydiver chip, walbro pump, Fmic, Full 3" exhaust all the way back,TurboXS bov, autometer boost and oil psi guages

Ill try that and hopefully it reveals my leak and ive been told alot that changing the plugs and wires would get rid of my misfire is this true?

I think you won with that trade...leaks can be stopped, issues can be resolved, but you'll have a GVR4 and not a Buick...not saying a Buick is bad.

Yeah I don't think the granny car was working out for me lol I love the look and style the galants have and I'm proud to own one.
I just need to find parts for the car I just can't seem to find any.

Well I need a new valve cover and looking for some engine dress ups. But I would really like to find a front bumper that isn't cut already

Find some caps for the top strut bearings. If dirt or water gets in there those bearings wont last for long.

Just a word of advice if you want to prevent things from breaking down prematurely.

since you are new here and looking for parts websites,

AVOID tunersnation.com At all costs. It has a lot of parts for VR4's.

Owes a lot of money and parts to people from this forum and all over the world.

Check the "bad guy" section for further confirmation.
