Hey y'all, i was having ac issues and tried looking for the problem.
Here's what's going on:

Whenever I turn my ac on, it does get cold, but it seemed like it was having a hard time to do the cooling. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bawling.gif

I checked behind the glove box and saw this.

whenever i try to move the wires it felt like the ac reacts, if its just the blower it's blowing just fine, if i turn the thermostat on, (the button that lights up orange or green) that's when the thing reacts /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

is this the AC Controller thingy or something else? any input is highly appreciated.

Thanks!

If your pic didn't upload, it was probably too large. Check the size, I believe it can't be over 2MB

I tried to post to my build thread earlier today and had the same problem. Maybe the website is actually having problems. When files are too big it still looks like they were uploaded, but you can't see any pictures.

As far as I know the AC controller just says "CONTROL UNIT" or something like that in big letters. It has a label, this I know.

That looks like the sanden sh*t aftermarket ac that was in mine.

Bin it and find a proper OE loom and controller. you will find the ac will work loads better.

The loom off a rhd will work fine to add in

it looks like it might have been a sanden one.

I think I have a OEM controller in the garage if you can't find one in the PI.
