If you do not already know the answer to this, then search the web for "Chinese evo3 16g" and you will get plenty of negative feedback.

from personal experience, I've run the turbo. It worked fine. I was running it at 15psi and it was great. When the vacuum line tore is when I killed it by unknowingly running it at 30+psi (note: pay attention to your boost gauge). I swapped it out for the godspeed 60-1. Broxma ran a godspeed gt35 for over a year at 17+psi, and netted 362awhp at 18psi with a 5" crack on the intake manifold. That turbo still spins like the day it was received. I have yet to have a bad experience with them. Just another side of the story.

TL;DR: Do the proper maintenance and use the proper oil and it will be fine. Personal experience, not some "That guy said"

I wasn't paying attention to my boost gauge until I hit fuel cut. I'd never hit it before. Know I know why. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif
