The valve covers are identical between each other, his just happens to be painted or powdercoated.

Careful... 95 talon is a 2g which doesn't have a cam angle sensor... I don't think it'll work.

They do have a cam angle sensor, just isn't located on the head. I believe that port where the CAS is normally on 1Gs and later 2Gs, is plugged.

2Gs have a crank angle sensor. It serves the same purpose as a cam angle sensor but is located on the crank instead of the cam. It isn't "the same thing located somewhere else." It's something different which serves the same function. In any event, 1Gs and 2Gs have different valve covers. The 1g has a hump for the CAS and the 2g does not.

All the valve covers are interchangeable. The 2g has the same hump for the cas, it just has a plug. How else could you install a 1g cas into a 2g?

95-96 model years had both a crank angle sensor located at the crank sprocket and a cam angle sensor located behind the intake cam gear and bolted to the head. The intake gear on 95-96 has a shutter plate attached.

97+ model year moved the cam angle sensor to the usual 1g location except the sensor was non-adjustable and was bolted into the intake cam.

And he's correct, all 4g63 DOHC valve covers are interchangeable. And a lot of Hyundai's too.
