I wish someone would have told me this before I lost a turbo because of it and eventually lost my lower end.



I used to do sandblasting for a living and I can tell you if the tape job is done right then you will not get any blast in the baffles. I have 4 different covers that I blasted and coated and none of them have blast in them. Its all in the prep work

Here is mine which was down in wrinkle black with wrinkle red lettering

mine is painted with factory paint in a spray can, then high temp clear...

I'm going to redo mine since white gets pretty dirty, but its rattle can white with polished letters

I just painted it with metalic silver wheel paint.

 

still need to clear coat it. Had too much black going on in the engine bay.
