I used to do sandblasting for a living and I can tell you if the tape job is done right then you will not get any blast in the baffles. I have 4 different covers that I blasted and coated and none of them have blast in them. Its all in the prep work

mine is painted with factory paint in a spray can, then high temp clear...

I'm going to redo mine since white gets pretty dirty, but its rattle can white with polished letters
