You need all the Canadian pieces to convert it to manual belts. The parts come up for sale every once in a while on the board.

BTW, you may wanna remove the sig pic. Notice nobody else has one? We like to keep it simple on this site. Out of all the people I've had to mention that to, however, you have the coolest little pic I've seen. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

ohhhhh, my bad, i'll take it down, a friend of mine made it for me for another forum so i figured i'd throw it up here... i'll keep an eye out for those pieces though, thank you!

Not only did the Canadian ones come with the manual belts, the 1988 and 1989 USDM ones did too. There is a thread in the How-To section on it from many years ago.

I prob can even get all the manual seatbelt parts... Just pm me with the specific parts you'll need.

If you guys are keen, I can go to the local wrecking yard and pick up a few sets for you.

There are about 4 - 5 galants at the junk yard at the moment.

Not sure what they are worth though.

Just a heads up, the lower part of the B pillars are NLA from Mitsu so be careful with them when you take them apart.

that'd be awesome, i'm afraid that (thanks to my incompetent memory) i've developed a case of rod knock, however, so the seatbelts are going to have to wait until i can get the engine rebuilt (wiseco pistons and eagle rods are going in), so it'll be about... february? lol
