Clutch adjustment??

How do we adjust the clutch on our cars? Or can we? Stupid question I figure, so any help or advise given is appreciated.

go under the dash, above the gas pedal, youll see the adjustment rod, break the nut loose, and spin the rod toward or away from the master. Then lock the nut back in place.

Guys......thanks a million. Thats just the info needed.

Could the clutch not being adjusted after my motor swap and new clutch installed be why the cars hard to get in gear( clunking sometimes and grinding), and hates 1st and reverse? No upgrades are done to the shifter, like 1g swaps, short throws ect....only some brass under hood bushings. Clutch cables seem to be straight lined? Again, thanks for all your help.

What are signs of wear with it......so I know what I'm looking for. A 19yr old part probably looks all the same to a lamen. I'm new to these fine machines.

Are the slave and master cylinder's common over the counter parts, or something I'm going to have to go to the dealership or net for?

Nice.....cheap to fix.......and available.
Thanks again for all the help guys.
