Cleaning/polishing the dash badge

Mines is tarnished...my interior is pretty awesome at this point and this is one of the last areas that is a pain. Can the badge be polished without wrecking it? If so then with what?

Thanks

take it off dash, and use either metal cleaner or brass cleaner...If it doesn't work get a replica made..

Leave the patina, or as you call it, tarnish. Or use some never dull on it, your choice.

Use some Brasso, that's what I've done in the past.
