Personally, I would never run any car I cared about through an automatic car wash. If I did, it would have to be have one of the touchless car washes, which do a shitty job. The ones with brushes are pretty much as abrasive as they come. A million cars worth of dirt are on those brushes, which then gets wiped all over your car.
If you absolutely have to get it washed, I suppose a touchless wash would be ok. Usually, I've found that most legit car washes offer a hand wash that's only about $10 bucks more on average. Most "premium" automatic car washes at the gas station or whatever run almost $15 bucks anyways, and do a sh*t job. So, $30 for a hand wash isn't a bad deal.
The antenna wouldn't be safe in a car wash with brushes. Also, if your car is lowered, you'll likely have clearance issues. Just things to keep in mind. A hand wash is the real way to go. Either do it yourself, or pay someone. I would drive a dirty car before running it through an automatic wash. Unless there's salt or something all over it, there's no real rush to clean it.
