Whose running it, and what turbo and what power are you making? do we need to mod any lines to use it? Im thinking about having two different tunes.

I made 557whp (dynojet) at 32psi with the injectors at 100% (FIC Bluemax 12500cc), there was more left in the rest of the setup. Fuel system consist of 2 inline 255s. Stock lines otherwise. The turbo is a DSM76 (FP bolt on HTA 3076R). I'll go for more power once I have the money to upgrade to FIC 2200cc (or whatever they are) injectors, Felpro head gasket, and L19s. The turbo is supposed to be good for 40psi.

From what ive seen around the DSM community.

Full fuel to rail kit
Huge injectors (dont quote me on this but e85 needs to be sprayed 20% more than gas or something)
Fuel Rail
FPR
255 FP.

Thats basics i think.

I left out the FPR.

Besides the FPR and the dual Walbros, my system is stock (even a stock replacement fuel filter). You can make that power just fine, but it's never a bad idea to upgrade the lines so it isn't a question.

The fancy lines and fittings are not needed and my 1250s were maxed out before the rest of the system.

I made 430who with a Evo3 16G, so that should give you some reference, I would think the s16g would make 350whp on a well tuned setup. The 2g MAF should do fine, I made 500+whp without drive ability issues. I'm not sure what the 880s or the Evo 9 pump are good for on that setup.

I would think 880 cc on pump would be good enough for 350whp with the right turbo so it should do ok i assume

The 880s will probably do it but I wouldn't count on the evo-ix pump. They're nice pumps but I maxed mine out with a set of 660s.

i thought you need a minimum of 1000cc injectors to run e85? correct me on this if im wrong....

No 1000cc is not a minimum. You could still "Use" any injectors to run e85. I could of used stock on my old dsm. Doesnt mean it would work properly for the application. Just saying you need to rephrase that.

Bigger injectors are needed yes. If your running 550 now, on e85 you may need 770 ect. But i wouldnt say 1000cc is the min.

See what i said above, its like 20% more is needed than gas (to be sprayed that is). Its cheaper than 93 but requires a whole lot more. MPG = goodbye

To get the corrected injector size you just need to multiply your current injector size by .670.
For instance, your 880's will behave more like 590's on E85.
That is a lot more than 20% extra in my book though.
Have a look here for more correct information E85page

BTW I am currently running 1450's on a single 255hp and stock lines with -6 from the filter to rail and -6 from rail to fpr. I see around 75% idc's @ 31psi on my 50 trim.

I'm in the process of converting to E85. I've got a FP3575 turbo, dual bosch 044's, Magnus anodized fuel rail, fuelab FPR, just waiting on my FIC 2150's to finish the setup.

You are good for about 700whp on -6an/stock fuel lines, and a single bosch 044.

1350cc injectors are good for about 600-630whp on e.

The 2150's idle awesome. They are the best injector I have ever run on my car. I am at 70%dc @ 678hp Dyno Jet, 640hp dynopack.

If you are going to buy injectors, get the High Impedence injectors. Run the Injector Dynamics or FIC.

Portland OR,

I'm interested to know what gas mileage is, and if it is more cost efective. Meaning: does the lower cost of E85 actually save you money with the worse gas mileage?

You will get a lower mpgs with e-85. Checkout fueleconomy.gov, 2010 chevy tahoe. On e85 it gets 13mpg. Regular gas it gets 17 mpg. Search for e-85 cars on the site get 3-8 mpg less.
