I think its 2.6qts *edit-2.4qts* but don't quote me on that. MT-90 and the like are pretty expensive oils to put in a tranny that may be on its way out. I would probably try some penzoil synchromesh maybe mixed with some cheaper gear oil and see what kind of results you get because it's cheap and the synchromesh is pretty good for eliminating grinds, although it's not the best to use long-term.
If you start the car in gear on a level surface with the clutch disengaged and without pressing the brakes, it doesn't move at all? And when you let up on the clutch pedal as you would when you want to start moving, where does it grab? Right off the floor or higher up? If it grabs right off the floor your clutch is just out of adjustment. You can also get underneath and watch the slave cylinder while having someone press the clutch pedal to the floor. Make sure it isn't leaking, and that the pushrod is extending properly. Look at the window where your clutch fork is sticking out of the transmission. Is the fork to the right or left of center(driver or passenger side)? You want it centered, or a little bit towards the driver's side. These are the basic things to check to make sure your hydraulic system is able to do its job properly.
