What makes the GVR4 that much heavier than the T/E/L?

I haven't put them side by side, but to me the GVR4 doesn't seem that it is really much bigger than the T/E/L.

I know that the 4WS does add some weight, but other than that what gives?

2 more doors and 8 more inches. Besides that, the weight between an AWD DSM and a GVR4, isnt that much difference if you have the same options on the both.
