If the GVR4 is also a DSM what do you call the T/E/L?

I am a former 1ga Talon owner twice over. Now that I am about to take ownership of a GVR4, I would like to know what you all
call the T/E/L when referring to them in posts. I can imagine that I will have to constantly reference them so I want to make it easy.

Is it just T/E/L?

Thanks!

For simplicity sake, we call TEL's DSM's bc that's what they are. Galant VR-4's were made in Japan and are NOT DSM's other than the fact they share the same drivetrain and motor.

Not a problem...welcome to the site.

Oh and if you ever want to search, use the "+" in front of every word to make your life easy. and don't be tooo specific in the search. If you wanted to look up "seats that fit the galant vr-4", just type in +seats +fit. Use key words because there is so many different ways of dialect and some people may not have the best grammar.

You may also want to put "-re:" to avoid duplicates upon searching. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I am going to save this information. Thank you...wish I knew this stuff years ago!

Talon is an Eagle though, so I thought 'E' was for Eclipse?

That statement should be reversed, DSMs break like GVR4s, Galants came first!

How about A/V/E? AMG/VR-4/Eterna. There is also a GSX. Nevermind!
Forgot to mention GLi & Super Saloon, for Asia models.

TEL's all look the same to me, so why not call them the triplets?

Isn't it fairly common to refer to them as 1G's?

ROFFLES.

GVR4 is NOT a DSM. Period.

DSM is a joint venture between Chrysler and Mitsubishi from 1989 to 1994.
TEL is the car produced under that venture.

I believe the 1988 Galant VR4 was using the 4G63T and AWD.
