What is this?

While putting in the blower and Evaporator I stumbled over this.
Seems to be 1 red wire soldered into a Plug that I dont know whats for and going to the ECU.
Can anyone tell me what that plug is and what the red wire is for?
Its the plug next to the 2 plugs for the evaporator.

Nevermind, I just released he was referring to the Evaporator Control Unit, not the Engine Control Unit.

No I did mean the Engine Control Unit. I just have no idea what that plug is for in the first place or why he soldered 1 wire from it and into the ECU.
Ill see if I can spot the pin no. when I get home.
