Wastegate manifold placement

Has anybody ever ran an external wastegate on cylinder #4 runner instead of the usual #1?

Any boost issues? Good/bad?

I got a tubular manifold with the waste gate port welded on number 4 runner.

It really doesn't matter. You're just venting back pressure, regardless of what runner it's on.
