I've recently been fully depending on the Gvr4 to go work, grocery store, and trips. Well, just earlier this year, I had replaced the 22 spline output shaft and tcase with a 23 spline output shaft and tcase. I was heading to pick up a b16g and visit the folks at FP. I'm working on getting an old school FP red to have under the tree. I broke down about a mile from FP, in the middle of a busy highway intersection. 53 three miles away from home. It just locked up. I was afraid of the galant being wrecked. Luckily, the folks out in Mckinney are very friendly, unlike Arlington. I did some searching and found that 92+ 23 spline will fit the galant. I want just verification that the info I received is correct.

91-96 dsm 23 spline will fit. 97+ used a different ratio. If you are in a pinch, swapping back to a 22 is easy enough with the trans still in the car as long as you can get the 22 spline shaft.

My 22 spline output shaft's teeth were nearly flat. I know there are more 23 spline available and I think I just found a 96 gsx with one still attached per brother in law.

I will gladly accept your offer. I'm now realizing why so many in the Mitsubishi awd community have spares in their garages.
