I am sure you all remember my thread where I blew up my motor in my Galant (cracked pistons-broken ring lands). I expect lots of hate and not much love but I like it better that way. Well here is an update on the car.

I ditched the Galant and picked up a 94 Talon TSi. 6bolt swapped, AWD on a 4bolt rear. I almost have it back together. Should be a fun ride. If it stays together, you will see ALOT of me at the track. Made a few changes in the setup. I am making this a reliable street driven car. Here are some progress pics.

Details:
Swapped the S16G to an EVO3 16G (extra 50cfm) downward facing, ditched the old school logger/SAFC/GM MAF/Keydriver chip for ECMlink V3 running speed density, no longer running 560cc injectors-now on 750cc, running a Wiseco forged piston raising compression from 7.8:1 to 9.1.1. Everything else is basically the same: 6bolt 4G63 ARP studs, ACL bearings, 2G head ported, +1mm valves, 272cams, blah blah blah. I picked up an ETS 26x10x3 intercooler and have 2.5" aluminum piping for it. I dont want to spend alot of time talking about it as I will probably end up blowing it up anyways but here you go... the car:

If it's tuned right and maintained why would it blow up? Maybe not enough oil changes?

The car looks good and it looks like you're heading towards a good direction. I'm more of a 1GA guy myself though.
Evo 16g,9:1 Compression with a 2g head combo should be a powerful street DD.
I'm guessing you plan on doing pump gas for the street and race gas for the track? You guys have e85 up there yet?
