I have an intercooler setup with hard pipes that has been sitting for a few years.

I believe it is from a 2g.

Intercooler is about 30" x 13" x 3"
Piping is 2.5"
It has a Greddy cast aluminum 90 degree elbow and the end caps of the intercooler and the same cast aluminum.

Any input is helpful.

Thanks.
Adam

It is a GReddy 2G kit. I think they either came in small (like 18 rows) or larger (24 rows).

Looks like an Apexi core to me.

Yea guys, you might be right. But I'm not aware of the Apexi cores running the goofy pipe setup like the Greddy's did.

I have the same core, always thought it was Apexi. Mine also has the same end tanks, but it came on an FD I parted out.

I'm pretty sure it's an Apex-i core (or a knock-off of it), but I didn't know they made that pipe routing. All kits I've seen like that are GReddy ones. But I guess I learned something new. Either way, it's a small core, and long piping. If you are going for more than 400hp, then I'd get something newer/larger.

The car I bought has an Audi intercooler in it with hard piping. At least that is what the previous owner said. It's nice because it fits behind the stock bumper with out cutting anything out.

I am going to sell the setup.

Thanks for the info guys.

Apexi used this same core design (like the greddy kits) years ago. I remember seeing them when I first got into dsms.
