So with 74k miles it hasn't had a timing belt & water pump job yet?

Does it look like the new owner is incapable of doing a timing belt job to you? I'm sure he is well aware of what the car needs in its current state, which speaks for itself.

Well, the hood gaps line up right, and there were comments on no rust already, so the next thing in G's "How can I be negative about this guy's car" arsenal was maintenance history.

Nice car, OP!

Here are 2 better pics of the polish/wax job.
So far i had tinted the windows, changed out the capacitors and changed all the fluids to redline. Not sure what's going to be next, probably shocks/bushing/driveshaft rebuild as i have a slight vibration around 55mph? anything bellow or above and the car is smooth as butter. Any idea? could it be the tires? they are from 97 and hard as plastic /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

also i am looking for a driver side foglight if anyone has one siting around. Mine has a tiny crack in it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bawling.gif

Car looks great, although I'd replace those tires, the sidewall is a little small for a 15" tire. But that's the biggest critique I think anyone could have of it.

Those look like stock size tires to me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif That said, I'd start there with vibration issues. At least get them balanced.

And yeah, that pic of Georgia looks disgusting. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/uhh.gif

Absolutely beautiful car. You're a lucky guy. Great work, and it looks like it is in very competent hands.

As far as the vibration goes, it could be a lot of things. Much of the time the driveshaft is to blame, but not always. Something people often overlook are the axle shafts. Something as simple as tire pressure could also cause it. If you are planning to get new tires, I'd do that first, and then try and diagnose the issue.

Take a look at this thread. The symptoms described within sound much like what you're experiencing. click
