The actual evo maf isn't 482, but I can't remember what it is.

I believe there is also a 501? which is the same as the 482 with a smaller flute that can be modified.

What he said.

165, 055, and 618 are all from 3000GT/Stealth's or Diamantes, and are 100% compatible with the 609 2G MAS.

Oh, mine must be an 055 then. I guess I should have lifted the hood and looked before I posted. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

#609 also came on evo3's. You can tell your friends about your jdm-ness.

Not to thread jack but,..... Has anybody did any kind of flow test to see which one of these flow better, therefore being the better upgrade?

I know other guys have used 3G MAS's, and have some issues, but I think most of the problems stem from the fact that this MAS flows 25% more air for the same Karman Hz as a 2G, and 67% more than a 1G, so you have to add a LOT of air on an AFC.

The 3g/Evo 8-9 #399 is the obvious winner here. Info is from '05 in the how-to section /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Evo1-3 is #609.

Both the 3G #482 and the EVO8/9 MAS have the highest airflow capability and the lowest pressure drop of any of the factory meters. The EVO8/9 is built to tighter tolerances and has a slight advantage in pressure drop also.
