Hood louvers - sanity check

Without a baffle, I think it wise to be very careful about where I'm letting water drain into the motor. Something like that is going to allow water onto the valve cover. I can't imagine it wouldn't get past the plug wire cover and start to pool and potentially get into the plug wire holes and etc...

This vent came on my hood. Looks awesome buuuuuut...when it rains, some water will collect on the exhaust manifold shield and burst into steam.

Never overheated so cant comment on that. It looks like it can be stock fitment and aligns well with the natural lines of the hood.
