headlight chrome peeling

So I have a pair of jacked up 93's --- pretty good glass but major chrome peeling, top peeling, and need the sealant stripped/redone.

I was thinking I'd paint the peeling inside bottom as well, in some sort of faux-chrome. I figure as long as it's at least somewhat reflective and can handle heat, I figure it can't be worse than what I've got. Maybe use Eastwood's "almost chrome"

Saw a similar topic in FS so thought I'd put it out there. Comments? ANyone tried before?

doh, you did didn't you... I read it but missed that you did inside and outside.

This will be top and bottom - but I'll still give it a go and post results. One side is literally separated and falling off teh housing now
