Also started mounting the BulFab Crossemember, we had to cut down the north/south bars about 2 inches in order for them to fit properly.

and finally fixed my oil leak, somehow my old front main seal was toast so we replaced it with a new one. =)

Thanks man, After I get The fab work done and new fan wired up I'll post pics of the whole thing, and that's just a cheapo eBay 35R it's just on there for the break in until I save up for a top mount manifold and an HTA 3794R.

really? wow. looks almost like a PTE unit. is it BB? hows it holdin up?

its funny, one night myself and a few friends joked about buying one of these. you can get the BB ones for $300 id be interested to see what kind of abuse it would hold up to before it blew apart haha

I really liked the BullFab parts. It's too bad they don't fit right. Did you email/call them to try and see what the deal was?

Haha yeah, a friend of mine had it and offered to sell it to me for like 400 bucks during the install on the built motor so i figured why not. and yeah it's a BB one. That's the plan though is to just use it for break in and some abuse, till I get the real deal later.

Yeah I gave him a call and he was surprised they didn't fit and he said he was sorry and offered to fix it for free but I told him don't worry about it and since I'm kinda pressed for time I'll just fix it myself. Everything fit fine minus the two north south bars.

Everything fit fine? It was a 3 piece kit, and 2 pieces didn't fit /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Glad to hear the customer service was decent though.

No A/C in Houston... you're crazy.

Eh I'm used to it, been living here most my life man. Lots of people also thought I was crazy for wanting to drive my VR4 from California to the Shootout In Norwalk Ohio too. Lol

You just cut where the existing welds are, 2 inches shorter. You have to use mild steel to weld it with though, that's what he told me.

You need to tell him to fix this man. I would be upset to have to cut and weld a brand new part that supposed to fit right up. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Like I mentioned above, he is aware of this already. I'm
Just not sure of it's a one time his fault thing or maybe all of them are off by 2 inches. Only way to know is if someone else on here got a set.

Same here. Would be nice to know what's going on with that...

Based on the other stuff I saw on his web site I am not surprised at all. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Rather than tuck those ballasts away like that, you should have thrown them in the trash and reinstalled some halogen bulbs.
