Got My New Throttle Body Back Today

Well i got my Throttle body for the VR4 back today from Steve Monroe over at throttlebodys.com, Got all the bells and whistles that come with the rebulid including a blockoff plate for the FIAV, man that guy is cool as hell man, like seriously i recommend him to anyone that wants to rebuild their throttle body /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/applause.gif Hopefully this will help get rid of my stupid idle surging issue. anyways here are the pics /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I got all excited reading the thread title as I've only ever seen 1 NEW throttle body before and was very disappointed to just see a rebuilt unit. Tease.

I as well have this TB but i kept the FIAV and ISC, Its a great TB though.

I didnt get it bored out, i just wanted to have it like new again, that idle surging was driving my freakin crazy man, I havent started her up yet but i did already install the throttle body already, im still waiting on my ECU to come back from Terry Posten. after that gets here I'll fire her up and cross my fingers and hope that the surging is gone. also got another black ISC waiting to be installed aswell.

After you put it back together make sure to check your base timing and adjust if needed. Also, go to the VFAQ site, click on the intake tab and go down to the "1g idle speed adjustment" under throttlebody. If you get all of these things set up correctly (and have no boost/ vacuum leaks) you will have a nice steady idle.
