hi guys,

i want to change my current fuel pump (walbro hp255) coz its getting noisy already (whining). i emailed walbro directly and they said that "our fuel pumps do tend to whine over time".

if im going to spend $$$ on a fuel pump, id rather buy something that performs just as well (or even better) but not going to whine over time.

supra pumps are out of the question because i dont have access to any of them.

any suggestions?

Why are supra pumps out of the question?
I ran a used 100k mile SupraTT FP on an old 1g I had with great results, went high 11's nurmrous times. Pump was MUCH quiter than every Walbro I have ran.
I wouldnt rule out an OEM supra pump unless you are planning on going faster than that.

And ctm on here has a Supra TT for sale with a brand new sock for $120, can't beat that for a deal! I would have bought that already but I already have two of them.

Jay Racing's 340LPH fuel pumps... I don't know if they whine or not though.

Oh, I just realized you were in the Philippines. You might still be able to order this stuff though.

I'm putting a Aeromotive 340 in today but my buddy has one in his 1g and he said he thought the fuel pump wasn't turning on but that's just how quiet it is. He said it works flawless and ppl have got 450 to the wheels with just a sinle pump.

Would you mind giving an update on this or just PM me to let me know how it goes? I looked at that pump and it looks like it should work with our senders quite nicely, certainly no more difficult to modify than the Supra TT pump. I'd like to give one a try in the future if it works out for you okay.

Paul.
