This is the only difference I ran into that was bothersome when I used a FWD core support on 195/2000. EDIT: In this picture, the core support is facing the ground. Everything is rotated 90* to the left so it would sit on its own for comparison. EDIT2: GVR4 bit is in the background here.
My plan is to clean up the old "boxes" and weld them to the FWD sub-assembly. That will probably happen when I decide to pull the engine and re-do my front end repairs. (They're fine, but I want to be able to drag the car out of a ditch without ripping the entire front end off if I stuff it.)
